Lauren moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia to attend NSCAD University, graduating with a fine arts degree in 2008. An interest in anatomy, human form and movement sparked in life drawing classes, coupled with a greater appreciation health and wellness gained through a regular yoga practice, led her to become a registered massage therapist in 2015.
Graduating with honors from the Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy, Lauren uses a variety of therapeutic techniques to address the underlying cause of symptoms, restore balance and improve overall health and well being. Lauren has experience in the treatment of postural and TMJ (jaw) dysfunction, headaches, athletic injuries, repetitive strains, anxiety and depression, as well as holding certificates in pregnancy massage, myofasical release and cupping massage. She has taken Upledgers CranioSacral Therapy I, and is looking forward to continuing her studies in 2020.
